Second Macedonia Baptist Church is in search of an anointed Senior Pastor. The Pastor of Second Macedonia Baptist Church shall perform all the duties incumbent upon his/her office as “Shepherd of the Flock.” He or she will lead by example through Christlike character, personal integrity, Christian Discipleship, and temperance.
The Pastor will be responsible for ensuring that Second Macedonia Baptist Church functions as a New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. Second Macedonia Baptist Church has been a pillar in the thriving Westminster section
of Elizabeth, New Jersey for 86 years. This uniquely located community borders Hillside and the Elizabeth River. Second Macedonia Baptist Church partners with local churches, organizations, and faith leaders to provide spiritual uplifting and provide social justice intervention. Our passion for people of all ages and ethnicities is at the forefront of our commitment to serving God and His people.
The church has a hybrid Sunday Morning Worship experience, Sunday School, and a weekly online Bible Study.
The following are specific qualifications and desired skills for the role of Senior Pastor: 1. Anointed
2. Licensed by a church, association, or an accredited institution
3. Ordained by a church, association, or an accredited institution
4. Has a degree/diploma from a program or institution
5. Has a secondary theological degree from an accredited institution
6. Is a Forever Learner
